Multi-State payroll administration, using Ultipro.  Reporting to the Director of HR who has a very strong payroll foundation.

Responsible for full-cycle payroll processing and reporting, FMLA, Garnishments, and payroll account reconciliations

Lead Payroll processor with multi-entity Professional Employer Organization (PEO): (interviews on 2/5/19 with employer!)

You’ll can be part of a start-up Team of a well-established PEO company that recently relocated their domestic operations to Albuquerque!

Processing multi-state and multi-company payroll, I-9 compliance, reconciliation of payroll hours, and communication with customers.

You’ll be working collaboratively with the local CFO and will be able to grow with the company and hire your Team.

Past PEO experience is a plus, but not required.  Pay is negotiable based on experience.

Payroll, HR Administrator with Global Investment firm (position can be located in Albuquerque or Santa Fe):

You’ll be coordinating with domestic and international Payroll providers regarding pay rates, hours and changes.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITY:

JOB SUMMARY: 

 

Member of HR team that will ensure accurate processing and recording of company’s payroll, provide timely and accurate financial information, participate in daily data entry, Payroll processing and reconciliations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

  1. Analyzes, prepares and inputs payroll data.  Uses automated system to produce accurate and timely payroll.  Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
  2. Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed timely and accurately.
  3. Reconcile payroll prior and after transmission.
  4. Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits.
  5. Performs account reconciliations.
  6. Facilitates management and employee understanding of payroll procedures.
  7. Stays current on payroll systems to achieve alignment with HR benefits and other related to effective accounting, and general ledger support.
  8. Execute time and attendance processing and interface with payroll
  9. Process accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary (W-2, 1095)
  10. Process manual checks
  11. Load import files
  12. Research and email appropriate audience of file issues
  13. Reconciliation of monthly benefit bills
  14. Open, close tax accounts
  15. Assists with annual compliance reporting
  16. Creates and maintains employee files
  17. Inputs employee changes into system

 

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma

CPP Preferred but not required

4-6 years processing multi-state payroll
