Position: MANAGER OF DISBURSEMENT PROCESSING
Department: ACCOUNTING
Reports to: CONTROLLER
POSITION PURPOSE:
Primarily responsible for all accounts payable, payroll and related activities. To assist the Accounting
Department in preparing and maintaining statistical and financial reporting. Coordinates activities of
workers engaged in the payroll functions of recording hours of work, processing time records, compiling
payroll statistics, maintaining payroll control records, and calculating payrolls. Responsible for payroll,
timekeeping, productivity and accounts payable systems. Researches and prepares special reports for
management. This description is not intended to be a complete list of duties. Other related duties may
be assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: ______
Associates degree in business or finance required
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is preferred
Certification: CPP and/or APM certification(s) are required for non-degree status.
Must maintain knowledge of IRS and Payroll rules and regulations..
Five years of previous accounts payable and payroll experience with an automated system.
Working knowledge and understanding of employee benefit programs.
Working knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing programs.
A high degree of concentration required.
Current American Heart – HeartSaver or Basic Life Support (BLS) card.
Performs related responsibilities as assigned.
Salary range: $43,346.00 -$52,041.00 annually (The top wage was determined for up to 10 years’
experience).

Payroll opportunity!

Very stable, yet growing Electrical Contractor has an immediate need for Payroll professional with Certified Payroll / Davis Bacon Act expertise.

Weekly Payroll for approximately 250 employees.

Reports directly to the CFO.

Will also get involved with Bank Reconciliations.

This company has a great culture, closes the office at 5pm and at 1:30pm on Friday.  Current payroll person has been there 17 years – you would not be walking into a mess!

Target pay is $50-55K, benefits.
